[About Adventure World]
Located in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture on the warm Kii Peninsula, this theme park is home to 1,400 animals of 140 species from land, sea, and air. Through people, animals, and nature, we hope to create an opportunity for each and every visitor to become a positive influence on the future of life.
We also aim to contribute to the realization of a bright and prosperous society full of smiling faces and to be a park that will always be needed. In addition, we have succeeded in breeding rare animals, including giant pandas, and are making efforts toward conservation and research.

[Tour precautions]
-This is a tour for international visitors to Japan.
-Due to the space limitation of the exhibition hall, each group will be limited to a maximum of 5 people.
- Please note that even accompanying small children or infants are included in the number of tour participants.
-Adventure World is home to eight species of penguins: Emperor penguins, King penguins, Gentoo penguins, Chinstrap penguins, Adelie penguins, Rockhopper penguins, Fairy penguins, and Cape penguins.
-During the tour, you can see the penguins from the viewing area just like other guests. There is no tour of the breeding facilities in the backyard.
-Feeding the penguins is not included in this tour.
-Only Cape penguins are available for the petting experience.

[About the facility]
-If you wish to enter the park before or after the tour, you will need to purchase an admission ticket at the ticket sales counter in the Entrance Dome. (* Payment can be made on-site on the day of the tour in cash or credit card.)
-The park is open from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please check the official website for the latest information before entering the park.
