Up close to the animals living in Safari World in Adventure World!

Enjoy the world of herbivorous and carnivorous animals living in Safari World. *Please confirm the animals you can meet in the remarks column.

We will discuss the animals you are interested in before the tour starts and offer advice as to what kind of encounter is available on the tour day!

You can experience feeding the animals. *Please check the remarks column for details on what you can experience.

The caretaker staff will lead you around!

Guided by Safari World's herbivore and carnivore caretaker staff, they will lead you while providing information about the animals in the park.

Private tours limited to one group per day

As this is a private tour, questions about the giant pandas will be taken on the spot and answered as needed.

Only those who take this tour will be able to witness up close and personal!

Watch tigers, lions, and bears return to their sleeping quarters from inside the jeep.

  • Support Center at Adventure World (left side of the Entrance Dome ticket gate)

    Please present the My Page reservation screen to the reception staff. After that, we will explain the precautions.

  • We will move to our office in the park and listen to your requests.

    Please let us know what kind of animals you would like to hear more about and what kind of experiences you would like to have.

  • Get into a jeep and travel to Safari World! Watch the animals at Safari World while taking in the zookeeper staff's explanations.

    At each location, participants disembark from the jeep and approach the animals for a lecture by the zookeeper staff.

  • We will guide you through Safari World for a full two hours according to the preferences of the participants.

    Please refer to the description in the Remarks for the content of the experience and the animals that can be experienced.

  • Return to the meeting place, disembark from the jeep, farewell greetings, and dismissal after being escorted to the exit.

    We will answer any questions you may have. If you have an admission ticket, you can continue to enjoy the park after dismissal.

[About Adventure World]
Located in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture on the warm Kii Peninsula, this theme park is home to 1,400 animals of 140 species from land, sea, and air. Through people, animals, and nature, we hope to create an opportunity for each and every visitor to become a positive influence on the future of life.
We also aim to contribute to the realization of a bright and prosperous society full of smiling faces, and to be a park that will always be needed. In addition, we have succeeded in breeding rare animals, including giant pandas, and are making efforts in conservation and research activities.

[Tour precautions]
-This is a tour for international visitors to Japan.
-Due to vehicle capacity, each group is limited to a maximum of 5 people.
- Please note that even accompanying small children or infants are included in the number of tour participants.
-Jeeps will be driven by our staff. Please note that participants are not allowed to drive.
-The animals you can encounter in each area are as follows.

Herbivore Area
American bison, African elephant, mouflon, Chapman's zebra, scimitar oryx, reticulated giraffe, eland, black buck, Japanese deer, Asian water buffalo, Malayan tapir, golden takin, white rhinoceros, roan antelope, Himalayan tar, red kangaroo, and Axis deer

Carnivore Area
Lion, Ezo brown bear, Cape baboon, cheetah, serval cat, Amur tiger, white tiger

-If you wish to enter the park before or after the tour, you will need to purchase an admission ticket at the ticket sales counter in the Entrance Dome. (*Payment can be made on-site on the day of the tour in cash or credit card.)
