Activity
You will be taught by an instructor with over 26 years of experience in Batto-do (Japanese swordsmanship) and Yabusame (horseback archery)
You can receive instruction from the Head Dojo of the Zen Nihon Toyama Ryu Iaido Renmei and the Shihandai (assistant instructor) of Yabusame (horseback archery). They provide guidance to overseas branches in the United States, Europe, and Asia, oversee Tameshigiri (Japanese sword cutting) experiences for over 1000 individuals, as well as experiences for overseas VIPs through embassies.

Classes for beginners covering three Kenjutsu disciplines!
Start by deepening your understanding of the sword. Learn how to handle it, master distance, and methods for attack and defense. Finally, you'll experience the sharpness of a Japanese sword firsthand!
Certificates will be issued
Upon successful completion of this experience, you will receive a certificate from the Toyama-Ryu Bizenkai dojo.
Schedule
Reception and demonstration
(1) Please present the reservation screen from My Page at the reception desk. (2) You will watch a demonstration.
Lecture on Japanese swords, change clothes
(1) With the help of materials, you will learn the basics of the history and craftsmanship of Japanese swords. You will then disassemble a sword to deepen your understanding. (2) You will change into training attire with the help of our staff.
Suburi (Practice Swings) and Gekiken (Sparring)
(1) Prepare for test cutting by practicing swings. (2) With a dedicated sparring bamboo sword, you'll learn about distance, the timing for attack, and defense against a moving opponent.
Tameshigiri (Japanese sword cutting)
You'll learn blade angles that only become clear through actual cutting.
Receive your certificate, end of the experience
Upon completion of the three fundamental disciplines, we will award a certificate from our association (Toyama-Ryu Bizenkai). This certificate represents the initial transmission of kenjutsu.
