The "Sea of Japan - Sea of Tohoku" zone features about 100 water tanks, including a large tank that reproduces the rich waters of the Sanriku region.

Umino-Mori Stadium has bleachers with the largest seating capacity in Tohoku

At Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium, there are about 100 tanks displaying around 50,000 marine creatures from 300 species. You can watch performances by animals like dolphins and seals, and there's also a large tank inspired by the Sanriku coastline.
