After completing your reservation, a text message (including the QR code and e-ticket download link) will be sent to your registered email address.
Boarding
Please present your QR code voucher at the Otsu Port ticket counter at least 20 minutes before departure, inform us of your reservation, and check in.
After boarding
Please relax in the waiting room until boarding begins. The boarding gate will open 10 minutes before departure.

A Lake Biwa cruise on the paddle steamer Michigan is a cruise where you can enjoy Lake Biwa and its surrounding nature, such as Mt. Hiei, throughout the four seasons.
From the sky deck on the top floor, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Lake Biwa.
The interior of the ship has a classical atmosphere. Please enjoy this unique experience!
[About service status/cancellation]
・Please check the official website for the operation status.
In the event of bad weather such as a typhoon, strong winds, or poor visibility, part of the itinerary may be changed or the cruise may be canceled. (Cancelled when a storm warning is issued)
We will make a decision as soon as possible based on the weather conditions, but please note that depending on sudden weather changes on the day of, we may need to make a last-minute decision for safety reasons.
Service may be temporarily suspended due to charters, events, etc.
[Boarding]
・Please arrive at each port 20 minutes before departure time to complete check-in. After checking in, you can use the waiting room.
・Please gather in front of the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before departure.
[Information]
・One preschooler (0-6 years old) can board for free per adult. (If there are 2 children, 1 child fee will be required.)
・On the 1st floor of the ship, there is a nursing room and a multipurpose restroom with a diaper changing station. (The nursing room is always locked. Please ask the crew when using it.)
・It is possible to board the ship in a wheelchair. There is an elevator (1F to 3F) and a multipurpose toilet on board.
・It is prohibited to bring food and drinks onto the ship. Please take advantage of the light refreshments provided on board.
・Smoking is prohibited on board. Please use the smoking area at Otsu Port.
・Michigan cruises may be operated by Bianca or other vessels.
*From mid-January to early March, we will be operating from Bianca due to regular inspections in Michigan. Please note that there may be times when we operate a substitute ship other than Bianca.
・Coin lockers are available in the Otsu Port waiting room, so please feel free to use them.
・Bicycles are prohibited.
・Please refrain from bringing pets on board. There is no problem with guide dogs and service dogs.
・Free Wi-Fi is available on board. Please note that connection may be difficult depending on the route and other conditions.
