Satoyama activity
Enjoy the experience of living in a Satoyama village at Nandabe Village, an experiential farm inn run by Mr. Ishii, who grows rice and vegetables in Ouse Town, Koriyama City.
Mochi pounding activity using a mallet and mortar
Experience the rice cake culture using rice or mochi (winter only) cultivated in this area.
Enjoy the buffet of mochi made by yourself
Savor a mochi buffet during lunch. You can also indulge in the local specialty, cabbage rice cakes.
Making Kagami Mochi

- JPY 8,800 per person for accommodation at farmhouse.
- A maximum of 10 people can stay, but accommodation will be divided among 5 individuals each.
1) Farmhouse "Nakamurasanchi"
You can spend a relaxing time in a 120-year-old traditional Japanese house with a sunken hearth.
2) Farmhouse "Makachanchi"
You can completely appreciate the wonderful natural surroundings and the way of life of a farmer in this old wooden house surrounded by woods and rice paddies.
