With a history of over 300 years, you can enjoy delicious sake made with local rice and water.

Ikuno's wild vegetable harvesting experience and cooking experience

You will have the opportunity to harvest vegetables together with the locals and prepare dinner using the freshly picked vegetables.

Stay at IKUNO STAY, which is also designated as a cultural property in Asago

A private accommodation in a house built around 1876 for 4 guests. For breakfast, you can enjoy rice balls and miso soup that you made yourself.

Ikuno area cycling tour with English guide

Easy transportation with an e-bike! Enjoy cycling while admiring the scenery of Satoyama. Beginners can feel safe as an English-speaking guide will accompany them.

  • Day 1: Meet at 1:00 PM

    Your guide will be waiting for you at the station ticket gate. Please show your My Page reservation screen to the guide. You will be transported to each experience location by taxi.

  • Tajime LLC Sake brewery tour / tasting

    Enjoy a sake brewery tour and tasting.

  • Vegetable harvesting experience and cooking experience in Ikuno area (preparation for dinner and breakfast for the next day)

    Harvest vegetables with the locals and cook using the vegetables. You can enjoy the vegetables you harvested and cooked yourself for dinner!

  • Day 1: Arrive at IKUNO STAY around 6:00 PM and stay overnight

    Please spend a special time in this historic building.

  • Day 2: Around 8:50 AM, meet at IKUNO STAY / Around 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM, begin cycling from IKUNO STAY *During cycling, you can leave your luggage at IKUNO STAY.

    A cycling tour that takes you through the Satoyama scenery. The dismissal location will be JR Ikuno Station.

[Participation conditions]
・Applicants must be 13 years old or older and must be 150 cm or taller to use an e-bike. Please note that those who are not eligible may not be able to participate.
・Please apply for a group of 4 people.

[Notes]
・The meeting and dismissal locations are different, so please come to the meeting location by public transportation such as JR or by taxi.
・Must be 20 years or older to drink alcohol.
・During cycling on the second day, you can leave your luggage at IKUNO STAY.

[Cancellations]
・The tour may be canceled after the reservation is made due to bad weather or natural disasters. In such case, WAmazing Play customer support will contact you via email after 12:00 PM the day before.
・If the event is canceled due to weather or other reasons on the day, the organizer will contact you directly, so please be sure to check your email or incoming calls on the day of the event.
・If only the second day's cycling is canceled due to bad weather, we will contact you as soon as the cancellation is decided, but there may be times when we will notify you on the day of the event. If we are unable to take you on a cycling trip, please note that you will be free to do whatever you want after checking out of IKUNO STAY, and WAmazing will refund you JPY 20,000 at a later date.

*There are two rooms, Koushataku #9 and Koushataku #19, but the available rooms vary depending on the reservation date.

*About check-in
・Once you unlock the room and enter the room, please check in by filling out the guest name and other necessary information on the guest list on the desk.
As our inn is unmanned, we are required by the health center to record guest records.
Please fill in the following information.
(1) Name, address, age, phone number, gender, occupation
(2) Room name, date of arrival, date of departure
(3) For international visitors, please also provide your nationality and passport number.

*About checkout
・Please help us keep things tidy by returning used items to their original locations.
・Please close the padlock on the back door when leaving. (If you need the padlock key, enter the password for the lock box again, open the lid, and take out the key from inside.)
・As a general rule, we will dispose of any items left behind, so please be sure to check them thoroughly when you leave.

*Kitchen/tableware
・There are kitchen facilities such as an induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, and pot, but there are no ingredients or seasonings.
・If you need it, please purchase it in advance at a convenience store, supermarket, etc.
・If you wash the used dishes and dry them on the draining rack, the staff will check them and put them away during cleaning.
・As for garbage disposed within the facility, please separate it into combustible and non-combustible trash and place them in the trash cans.

*Nearby facilities
・There are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. Please purchase drinks etc. in advance (there are vending machines located nearby)

*About equipment etc.
・There is free Wi-Fi, so please feel free to use it. (There is no TV available at the inn.)
・Not all rooms have an air conditioner. Although it is relatively cool even in the summer, we will have a simple screen door available.

*About towels and amenities
・Face towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes are provided.
・Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hair dryer are always available, but razors, pajamas, and lotion are not provided, so please bring your own.

*Bath
Turn on the water heater switch (pictured below) on the kitchen wall and fill the bath with hot water. When you have finished taking a bath, be sure to turn off the power and drain the water.

*About valuables, etc.
・We cannot store your luggage before check-in or after checkout.
・Please take care of your own valuables. Please note that our guesthouse cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event that your belongings are lost or stolen during your stay.

*Prohibited items, etc.
・As the former Ikuno Silver Mine Staff Dormitory (company housing), including the accommodation facilities, are designated Cultural Properties of Asago, open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited on the entire premises (e.g. at the entrance and in the garden). (Smoking is also prohibited in the rooms. All rooms are equipped with fire alarms.)
・Please refrain from making noise, especially after 9:00 PM, as it may disturb the neighbors.
・Please note that you may be charged a separate fee if equipment or items within the facility are damaged or removed, or if they are extremely dirty after use (bed-wetting, spilled drinks, etc.).
