Experience cooking traditional local dishes in a renovated Japanese school kitchen
Whether you are unfamiliar with cooking or a cooking enthusiast, we will provide detailed instructions to suit your experience, so everyone can enjoy the food.
You can eat local cuisine prepared in the temple's main hall, just an a minute walk from the kitchen!
Dining in the main hall, which is not easily accessible, will undoubtedly provide a valuable experience.

Meet up at Nukumori no Sato Futakawa / Reception
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk.
After explanation of the activity, put on boots and travel to the field on foot.
Visitors will experience harvesting the vegetables in season.
Cook traditional local dishes with harvested vegetables while learning from the locals
We will cook with an explanation, so even beginners can experience cooking with ease.
Taste the food while interacting with the locals in the precincts of a temple rich in history.
The finished dish is then taken to the temple, which is about a minute's walk away, and served. You will eat a special meal in the main hall, which is normally off-limits and only accessible for observation.

- The meeting place, Nukumori-no-Sato Futakawa, is about 30 minutes by car from Masuda Station. Please make your own arrangements for a rental car or taxi.
