Activity
Experience sea fishing of fish nurtured in the Sea of Japan with a local captain!
No advance preparation is required, and you can participate empty-handed.
The local captain will support you and teach you how to catch fish!
This method is simple and easy, even for beginners.
The fish caught can be enjoyed at the dinner place with the chef's recommended cooking method!
Cooking methods vary depending on the type and size of the fish caught. Enjoy freshly caught fish dishes to your heart's content!
Schedule
8:30: Meet up at B B Masuda / Reception (If you have applied for pick-up service as an option, please meet at Masuda station at 8:00 AM).
On the day of the activity, staff members wearing yellow jackets will be standing by around the meeting place. Please let the staff know that you came to join the activity. After gathering, you will be transferred to a nearby port to begin the activity. Please present your My Page reservation screen at the reception desk.
Instructions on how to fish and precautions before boarding the boat
Life jackets must be worn as a safety measure.
Try your hand at sea fishing!
The captain of the boat will be there to support you and help you learn how to fish and what to do after you caught the fish.
Around 12:00 PM / Return to port & get off the boat
The staff will transport the caught fish to the dining facility. You are free to spend your time freely until dinner (6:00 PM).
6:00 PM : Meet again at "Iroha Ni Hoheto".
You will enjoy the fish you caught at the dinner place, cooked in the way recommended by local chefs. *Dishes served will vary depending on the method of preparation of the fish caught. If you do not catch any fish, you can still enjoy a fish dish.

Notes
- One child between 10 and 11 years old is allowed per adult (12 years old or older). (Maximum of 4 adults + 4 children aged 10-11 years old for a total of 8 participants)
*Adults will be paired with children to share fishing gear and fish together. Fishing equipment rental for children is not available.
- For children aged 10-11, please request an additional insurance premium for the number of participants from the Options section.
- Children under 9 years old are not allowed to participate.
[Flow of the day]
- After enjoying fishing, participants will disband (free time) and meet again for dinner.
Please meet at "Iroha Ni Hoheto", a 2-minute walk from Masuda Station, at 6:00 PM. (23-21 Ekimae-cho, Masuda-shi)
[Notes]
- Please drive to the meeting place. Please make your own arrangements for a rental car or taxi.
If it is difficult for you to make your own arrangements, please apply for the optional taxi plan.
- Fishing conditions depend on the weather and the time of year, so you may not be able to catch fish at all times. Even if you don't catch any fish, you can still enjoy fish dishes at the dining facilities.
- If you are worried about seasickness, please take a motion sickness medicine one hour before the tour starts.
- Please follow the captain's instructions during the activity.
- In case of lost traps, an additional fee of JPY 2,000 per trap will be charged.
- Since the sun is strong, we also recommend wearing sunglasses and hats.
[Cancellation]
- The event may be cancelled even at the last minute due to strong winds or high waves during the period.
- If the decision is made before the day preceding the event, WAmazing Play customer support will contact you by e-mail after 3:00 PM the day before the event.
- If the event is cancelled due to weather or other reasons on the day of the event, the operator will notify your emergency contact. Please be sure to check your e-mail or incoming calls on the day of the activity.
*In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, refunds will be made if the cancellation is made before the start of the tour. No refunds will be made if the tour is cancelled after the start of the tour.
