Activity
Cruise on a Japanese boat with a kotatsu table (a low table with a built-in heater)
For the winter season, Nagatoro Line Rafting, a popular sightseeing tour in Nagatoro, will use a kotatsu table (a low table with a built-in heater). Visitors can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings while warming up with a kotatsu!
Boatman Experience & Photo Shooting
The boatman's coat, umbrella, and pole will be provided! You can board a boat anchored at Iwadatami and experience becoming a boatman by holding their pole! Photography is also available.
Experience wearing a hakama
Experience wearing a hakama, a traditional Japanese pants-style kimono that is rarely worn! We will also give hair accessories and a kinchaku bag to complement the hakama.
Explore huge trick art that you can touch
Visitors can participate in a range of trick art activities while wearing hakama, including the Edo Time Slip Zone and the Ninja House Exploration Zone. You will undoubtedly merge into the world of trick art.
Stroll around the town in hakama
Visitors can freely stroll around the town's old streets, including Iwatadatami Street, Nagatoro Station, and Hodosan Shrine, wearing hakama.

9:45 AM - 10:15 AM Reception for Kotatsu Boat Nagatoro Line Rafting Headquarter
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk.
10:15 AM - 11:00 AM Board Kotatsu Boat + Boatman experience (About 45 minutes)
From the reception area, you will be taken to the riverbank and board a Kotatsu Boat (about 20 minutes). Then board another boat and enjoy a boatman's experience and a photo shoot (about 15 minutes).
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Dress up into hakama at Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club (About 30 minutes)
Take the free shuttle bus from Nagatoro Station to Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club. Shuttle buses run every 30 minutes. Please get off the bus at the bus stop "Nagatoro Trick Art". Please present your My Page reservation screen at the reception counter.
From 11:30 PM Enjoy trick art at Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club (About 30 minutes)
Once you are done dressing into a hakama, we will take you inside the Trick Art
Until 3:30 PM: Stroll around the town of Nagatoro (free time)
You are free to explore Nagatoro Town but please return to Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club by 3:30 PM to change and finish the tour. Shuttle buses are available to Nagatoro Station.

Notes
- Please apply for more than 2 people.
- For your safety, we request that you wear a life jacket. We do not permit passengers who do not agree to wear life jackets or who are unable to wear life jackets to board the ship.
- Please note that on the Kotatsu Boats, you will be asked to take off your shoes on a special board on the boat.
- As the cruise operates at any time, you may have to wait approximately 10 to 30 minutes from the time you apply until departure.
- Please refrain from eating and drinking on the Kotatsu Boat.
- On the day of the tour, please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk. If you are in a group, please come to the reception desk after everyone in your party is present.
- Reception time is between 9:45 AM and 10:15 AM. If you are significantly late, you may not be able to board the Kotatsu Boats or experience the boatman's experience. Please be sure to arrive on time.
- We recommend wearing a winter functional innerwear (ex., thick long-sleeved shirt) for the upper body and leggings, etc. for the lower body.
*What you will wear this time will be a simple kimono to wear Hakama.
- If you would like a simple hair arrangement (bun, braid, ponytail, etc.), please request it as an option at the time of reservation.
- Please return the hakama to Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club by 3:30 PM.
- Please note that if there is a damage to hakama or other accessories, a separate repair fee will be charged.
- Large luggage can be checked in together with a change of clothes. However, we do not accept valuables. Please take it with you.
- Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited inside.
- For some artworks, you must take off your shoes.
[Changes in tour content due to inclement weather]
- Please note that Kotatsu Boat may be cancelled suddenly due to rain or strong winds on the day of the tour.
- If the Kotatsu Boats and boatman experience are not available due to weather conditions, the program will be changed to "Sencha (Japanese green tea) brewed in a teapot and tea sweets service" at the Nagatoro Trick Art Yurin Club's tea room. There will be no change in the fee.
