The only place to make your own Gomafuda charm!
In Japan, "gomafuda" are charms that give spiritually fulfilling wishes.
Hinode Town, surrounded by mountains and rich in nature, has a thriving forestry industry. It is also the largest producer of stupa and gomafuda in Japan.
Make your own gomafuda, a traditional Japanese charm that has been passed down since the Edo period, and make a wish with it.
After the program, you can purchase "smoked cheese" made in Miyabi Kobo. (648 yen, tax incl.) Perfect for a souvenir from Hinode Town!
Schedule
Reception / Lecture about gomafuda (10mins)
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception. You will learn about gomafuda.
Print on a piece of wood and dry (10mins)
You will print on a piece of wood and then dried to make a charm.
Factory tour (10mins)
While drying, you will tour the factory that is said to have the largest production of stupa and gomafuda in Japan!
Re-print (10mins)
You will now print the characters.
Decoration, making a wish (20mins)
While the gomafuda is drying, you can decorate it. Lastly, you can write your wish.
