Activity

It is perfect for first-time Noh and Kyogen viewers and is designed to be easy to understand.

Before the performance, we will provide an "easy-to-understand skit" based on the Kyogen performance of that day by the theater group "Enban Rider" and explain key points for viewing.

It's not just a Kyogen performance, it's a party-like event with drinks and performances by a DJ in a kimono

By providing lounge time, we have devised a way to alleviate the "complexity" and "atmosphere" of Nohgaku and create a place where people can have fun through interaction.

The programs vary depending on the date and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

In addition to regular performances, there will also be special performances. Please watch performances that interest you.

There is a wealth of knowledge, such as traditional Japanese culture related to Kyogen

For those who are viewing it for the first time, it brings about various realizations, learnings, and impressions, both big and small.

Schedule

  • 1:30 PM: Gather/Reception

    We will start reception. Please present the reservation screen on My Page at the time of reception.

  • 2:00 PM: Lounge time starts

    Enjoy party-format socialization with a drink in hand until the performance begins.

  • 3:00 PM: Start of the Kyogen show

    It's time to watch Kyogen. *Performances vary depending on the date.

  • End of performance - After lounge time (about 30 min.)

    After lounge time will begin after the performance. You can also enjoy interacting with other guests after the show. You are welcome to leave at any time you like.

  • Dismissal (scheduled to end at 4:30 PM)
