For those who are worried that adding a hairdo set in addition to kimono rental will bring the price up, the kimono rental plan at Momoka includes dressing and hairstyle set (with flower accessories). First-time kimono renters and overseas customers will not have to worry!
At Momoka, you will find a wide variety of kimonos that will make you look cute and colorful.
A wide selection of patterns ranging from retro, cute, antique, modern, and Taisho-roman styles are available. Fabrics range from casual wool kimonos to original silk kimonos. Transform into a Kimono beauty!

Momoka Kimono, is located in the heart of Gion, Kyoto, a World Heritage Site. The store makes it easy to stop by while sightseeing because Gion Minami, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji Temple, Kiyomizu Temple, Maruyama Park, Kenninji Temple, Chion-in Temple, and other attractions are all within walking distance. The store is ideally located surrounded by beautiful Instagrammable places.

Meet-up / Reception
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception desk of Momoka Kimono Rental.
We will take care of your luggage and help you select your kimono and accessories.
Please choose your favorite kimono and accessories from the large selection of Kyoto-brand Japanese kimonos available. Don't worry if you've never worn a kimono before; our staff can assist you in selecting one that fits your needs. We will store your personal items, excluding valuables, free of charge so you can take a stroll around without being weighed down by your luggage.
Dressing and hair arrangement by experienced kimono dressers
You will be dressed by our team of experts in the most practical way so that you can leave as soon as possible. You can be confident that we will dress you tightly to prevent your kimono from losing its shape. We offer a selection of hairstyles from our catalog, but we would also be grateful if you could show us a picture of the type of hair you are looking for. If you're unsure about the type of hairstyle you want, our experts will be pleased to recommend some suggestions.
Enjoy strolling around Kyoto
If you have not decided on a walking course, our staff will be happy to recommend nearby sightseeing spots. Enjoy a wonderful Japanese atmosphere!
Welcome back
Once you have enjoyed exploring Kyoto, please return to the store and change from your kimono to the attire you came in. Kimonos are due back at 5:00 PM. If you wish to return the kimono the next day, a deposit of JPY 10,000(Furisode only: JPY 50,000) plus rental fee of JPY 1,100 will be charged. *Deposit will be refunded upon return of kimono.

Cancellation Policy
Notes
• We do not offer kimono dressing services for pregnant women. If you conceal your pregnancy and experience health issues as a result, we cannot accept responsibility.
• For adult kimonos, the selection becomes limited if your hip size exceeds 130cm.
• We offer free baggage storage, but please manage your valuables yourself. Our company is not responsible for any loss (including theft), damage, or water damage to your belongings.
• If you are more than 20 minutes late for your reservation, your reservation will be canceled.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation, priority will be given to guests who arrive on time. Additionally, if you cancel on the day after the reservation has started, refunds will not be issued. We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly ask you to be punctual.
[Regarding Returns]
• Please return items by the specified time. If you fail to return items within business hours without prior notice, we will close the store without waiting for your return. A late fee equivalent to the dressing fee will be charged for the following day's return.
Our return time is 17:00 (5:00 PM) / Closing time is 18:00 (6:00 PM).
• A late fee of JPY 1,100 per 30 minutes will be charged for late returns. If we do not receive any notice from you during business hours, we will close the store as scheduled. The same fee will apply for returns on the following day.
• If you wish to return the items the following day, please notify us on-site on the same day. A next-day return fee of JPY 1,100 (tax included) and a deposit of JPY 10,000 (JPY 50,000 for long-sleeved kimonos (Furisode)) will be charged. If the items are not returned by the following day, the JPY 10,000 deposit will not be refunded. (same-day settlement)
• If any stains or damage to the kimono or accessories (such as bags) are found upon return, you will be charged at least JPY 3,000 for stains per 20cm² and from JPY 10,000 for damages. We recommend purchasing the Safety Package (Insurance) at JPY 550 per person (tax included), payable on the same day.
[About cancellation]
• Please note that your booking may be cancelled after the reservation is made due to extreme weather conditions such as typhoons. In such cases, WAmazing Play customer support will contact you by e-mail after 2:00 PM the day before the booked appointment.
