Activity
You will be greeted by the Senbon-Torii, the thousands of red gates at Fushimi Inari, which are the most popular tourist destination on TripAdvisor.
You can visit several sacred sites and feel the "authenticity" of the holy mountain, Mount Inari.
Since the route diverges from the main ones, there are plenty of photo opportunities unspoiled by crowds.
Visit a beautiful bamboo forest path free from other tourists. There will be countless red gates on the way down along with photogenic scenery.
For lunch, you can enjoy traditional Japanese soba at a well-established restaurant.
You can also enjoy delicious Inari sushi (sushi wrapped in sweet fried tofu).
Schedule
Sightseeing around the Fushimi Inari Taisha.
Visit the main shrine and Senbon-Torii while listening to explanations of its history and cultural background.(Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.)
Forest walk.
Pass through the gentle bamboo and cedar forest paths to visit the authentic sacred sites (worship stones and waterfalls) and the ruins of gates.
Hike to the summit of the mountain.
Head to the summit (20 minutes). The summit is 233m above sea level. The guide will tour you around the shrine at the summit, where you can make your wish and pray.
Take some photographs.
Along the way, your guide will show you many photogenic spots. It is very easy to take pictures as there are often no other tourists around. For a break, you will visit a historic mountain lodge where you can enjoy Japanese tea and boiled eggs. You can also enjoy the amazing views of Kyoto with a panoramic view.
Lunch.
Lunch at the best soba restaurant in Fushimi, ending your tour with delicious soba noodles and inari sushi.

*This is a hiking tour.
The road is generally well maintained and flat, except for the forest climbing route to the summit for the last 20 to 30 minutes.
Also, since the final path is basically steps and the condition is always good, anyone is able to join the tour.
The tours will run as normal on rainy days, with an exception of particularly bad weather, such as typhoons.
There will be fewer people on rainy days, allowing you to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing time.
Please wear comfortable clothing, shoes, and a hands-free hand rucksack to be prepared for hiking.
The road is well maintained, however it is also sometimes necessary to climb steps and steep dirt roads.
The tour time schedule varies, depending on walking speed.
The program may be cancelled due to poor weather even after the booking has been made. In such cases, WAmazing Play Customer Support will contact you after 14:00 the day before the program.
