Activity
Experience a waterside wedding photo experience in Japanese style! Enjoy a bridal photoshoot (Meotobune Itako bride) that embodies the traditional culture of the water town of Itako!
Suigo Itako is a town which prospered through its use of boat transportation. When brides married they traditionally boarded the rofune boats to receive blessings from the villagers.
Experience Japanese kimono culture with a bridal Shiromuku and a Hakama for the groom
There is no need to worry as staff will support you during the entire photoshoot!
Photos will be taken in multiple locations, including the Suigo Former Isoyama Residence, aboard the robune, or on a rickshaw!
A number of photos will be taken in the Japanese-style rooms and gardens of the Japanese house, aboard the robune boat at the Suigo Itako Iris Park, and on a rickshaw at Choshoji Temple, a temple founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo in 1185.
Lodgings will be provided at the Suigo Former Isoyama Residence, a Japanese house built in 1899
Stay at the Suigo Former Isoyama Residence for two nights. The entire building will be reserved so up to 10 guests can stay.

Schedule
Day before photo shoot: Arrive at Bridal Gallery Marumiya
Staff from Itako Co., Ltd. will be waiting with a sign. Please present your name and My Page reservation screen when you arrive.
We will prepare the outfits the day before shooting to ensure the day of runs smoothly.The day of the photo shoot: 8:10 AM - arrive at Bridal Gallery Marumiya → dressing and makeup → move to the shooting location → 10:10 AM arrive at the Isoyama residence
Please arrive at Bridal Gallery Marumiya for the bride to be dressed in the Shiromuku and Hakama respectively. We will move to the shooting location once makeup is completed and you are ready to begin.
Transportation will be by taxi (paid for by the customer)Photo shoot begins! 10:15 AM - Isoyama residence → 11:20 AM - Meotobune boat ride → 11:55 AM - Rickshaw ride at the Suigo Itako Iris Park → 12:20 PM - Choshoji Temple → 1:00 PM - Tsugarugan Plaza
The photo shoot will take approximately 3 hours and end around 1:05 PM.
There are restrooms at the shooting locations, however, please use the restroom before shooting if possible.1:50 PM - Bridal Gallery Marumiya → change clothes → head to lodgings → 3:10 PM - arrive at the Isoyama residence
Change into your own clothing back at Bridal Gallery Marumiya and head to your lodgings.
Transportation will be by taxi (paid for by the customer).Day after photo shoot: 10:00 AM - Check-out and end of the experience

The groom should wear a white V-neck T-shirt and undergarments such as tights or heattech depending on the season.
The bride should arrive without makeup. Makeup will be put on by a makeup artist after arrival at Bridal Gallery Marumiya.
Please prepare any items you would like to use during the photo shoot.

Accommodation: Suigo Former Isoyama Residence, a Japanese house built 125 years ago
