Learn about brushes & experience calligraphy
You will learn about the history of Kumano's traditional brush-making industry through a slide presentation. Afterward, try writing characters using an actual calligraphy brush (water brush)!
Brush-making experience
During the brush-making experience, you can choose from two types of brushes and carefully arrange the delicate bristles. You'll also have the chance to try out a makeup brush and compare it to the one you typically use.
Factory tour
Tour the factory and uncover the secrets behind creating world-class quality brushes! Afterward, enjoy shopping for souvenirs in the showroom, where you'll find a wide selection of makeup brushes! *In addition to the brush you create during the experience, you can also purchase other products.
Issuance of certificate and end of activity
You'll receive a Kumano Brush Meister certificate along with your very own personalized brush, complete with your name engraved on it.

• At the Koyudo Makeup Brush Workshop, you can watch the entire process of creating makeup brushes, from production to quality control. Uncover the secrets behind their fluffy, soft, skin-friendly bristles, and adorable designs, trusted by top brands worldwide. During the experience, you'll also have the chance to create your own custom makeup brush, which you can take home. The workshop manager will guide you every step of the way!
