Designed by Kunio Maekawa, a distinguished architect who studied under Le Corbusier, this facility stands as one of Japan's foremost cultural institutions. It was built by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to commemorate the city's 500th anniversary.

• There is no specific dress code, but please avoid extremely casual attire (such as beach sandals, T-shirts, shorts, etc.) when attending.

• If you arrive late for the performance, you will generally not be permitted to enter until the intermission. Please follow the staff's instructions.
