  • Arrival procedures

    Show the reservation page from your My Page upon arrival. After a short briefing and restroom break, your journey in the footsteps of the Yamabushi (mountain ascetics) begins.

  • Explore Fukushima Gokoku Shrine, Mt. Yudono Shrine, and more

    Explore Mt. Yudono Shrine, home to the god of love and matchmaking, and learn about Mt. Shinobu's history as you take in the mountain scenery.

  • Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Karasugasaki Observation Deck

    Relax over lunch at Karasugasaki Observation Deck, overlooking the Azuma Mountains. Savor a bento (boxed lunch) featuring fresh local ingredients from Fukushima.

  • Visit the sacred spot, Zazen Rock

    Visit Zazen Rock (the Seat of Meditation), with links to the legendary monk Kobo Daishi, and feel the spiritual power of mountain worship.

  • End with a visit to Haguro Shrine

    Visit Haguro Shrine, famous for the Fukushima Waraji—Japan's largest straw sandal, an offering from the local people to prey for strong and healthy legs. End your tour at Fukushima Gokoku Shrine, where you'll receive an original tour-exclusive omamori (amulet) as a gift.
