Create a souvenir to remember your visit to the World Heritage site of Hiraizumi!
Create an original andon (paper lantern) right inside the World Heritage site of Hiraizumi.
Take your lantern home as a reminder of your trip
Once completed, you can take your lantern home with you to brighten up your home.
Simple for children to take part!
To create your lantern, simply attach your favorite Japanese-pattern paper to a plain lantern base—easy for everyone, regardless of age!

Introduction to the experience
Staff will explain the creation process and key techniques to you. Please review and sign the consent form provided.
Decorate your lantern
Select your favorite Japanese-pattern or locally-themed paper and create your own original paper lantern.
Complete your original piece!
Your finished piece can be taken home on the day. Please let a member of staff know if you would like your lantern to be packaged.

Notes
• There is no dress code, but please be aware that clothing may get dirty as the activity involves the use of craft glue and other adhesives.
• For one piece created by a parent and child together, only one person's fee applies.
• For groups of 5 or more, a separate venue within walking distance of Surisawa Station will be used. An additional venue fee of JPY 2,200 will be charged separately on the day.

• The activity may be canceled for safety reasons due to bad weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances. In such cases, WAmazing Play's customer support or the organizer will contact you via the emergency contact number provided. Please be sure to check your e-mail and incoming calls on the day.
