Activity
Finish off a pair of jeans by working on the high quality red line selvedge denim on both ends.
6-minute walk from Ebisu Station. After finishing the program, you can wear them to take home.
After the sewing is complete, you can add buttons, rivets, and a leather label of your choice to complete the jeans.
You can experience the special method of "Okayama Denim", a type of domestic jeans that is highly regarded by jeans experts.
Only here you can try your hand at making jeans!
Receive an original tote bag to take home (Colors and pattern may change).
Enjoy the experience of making your own pair of jeans from the patented “Jeans Making Experience”
Schedule
Reservation confirmation at the reception (Ebisu Kobo), then explanation on how to make jeans (10 minutes)
Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.
Try on a pair of jeans and measure the inseam (10 minutes)
Choose buttons, rivets and a leather label (10 minutes)
Attach buttons and rivets by a special machine
Artisans will fix the hem and attach the leather label. (20 minutes)
Finish!
Take home the denim jeans you made.

Regarding the activity fee:
The jeans-making experience, available exclusively at Betty Smith, has been offered at the same price as ready-made products. However, starting June 1, 2025, an additional activity fee will be charged on top of the base price. An extra JPY 2,000 (excluding tax) will be added to the price of ready-made items.
