Activity
A luxurious experience to enjoy the world-famous "Fujimori Tea Room."
The three teahouses of architect Terunobu Fujimori, world-famous for his unique architecture:
The world's most dangerous (?) teahouse "Takasugi-an," which sits atop a six-meter high tree, the "Hikusugi-an" tea ceremony room, which looks like a pyramid buried underground, and the "Flying Mud Boat" tea ceremony room, which is suspended by cables and floats in the air.
This is a special program that allows visitors to enter the interior of the teahouse, which is usually closed to the public, with special permission.
You can visit Suwa Shrine and the "Shinchokan Moriya Archives," the first building built by Mr. Fujimori, as well as learn from a local tea master while making matcha in the "Hikusugi-an."
