Activity

Sea kayak across the islands on the Shimanami Kaido.

Pass through bridges on the Shimanami Kaido, such as the Innoshima and Tatara Bridges, while looking down from a sea kayak

A unique sea kayaking experience where you can enjoy the islands of the archipelago and physically experience the intricate movements of the currents.

Schedule

  • Meeting.

    Please present the My Page reservation screen at the reception.
    Meeting in front of JR Onomichi Station or at a meeting place on the Shimanami Kaido. Head to the departure place.

  • Arrival and preparation.

    Preparation for departure, change of clothes, instruction of precautions, and paddling training.

  • Departure.

    Enjoy kayaking on the sea. Have lunch at an uninhabited beach or at a restaurant on the island. Take a walk around the island, or in summer, enjoy swimming in the sea.

  • Return.

  • Cleaning-up, change of clothes, dropping-off at a requested location.

    Drop off at JR Onomichi Station, or at a requested dropping-off place on the Shimanami Kaido.

Included in the Fee

Pick-up service to/from JR Onomichi Station, trips to meeting points and hotels between Mukaishima Island and Hakata Island.
