An easy playing the nose flute experience for all ages!

You can play even if you can't read music!

Place your nose and mouth against the nose flute, blow in through your nose to make a sound.

Make your own paper nose flute!

    Explanation and demonstration of the nose flute.

  • Learn how to play the nose flute

    The first step is to learn how to play the sounds, and then practice scales through a simple song. Even those who are not good at music can easily enjoy it.

  • Paper nose flute making experience

    Make your own paper nose flute by drawing your favorite pictures and putting stickers on it. After finishing, enjoy playing the nose flute.

- About 27 minutes by taxi from Hida-Kanayama Station (the JR Takayama Main Line)
- About 30 minutes by taxi from Gujo-Hachiman Station (The Nagaragawa Railway) or take the Hachiman Kanko Bus (Wara Line), get off at Shimobara, and walk for 10 minutes.

- From Nagoya/Osaka
At Ichinomiya Junction on the Meishin Expressway, take the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway toward Takayama (north).
Get off at Gujo-Hachiman Interchange, head south on Route 156 for 1 km to Gujo-Hachiman town. Get on Horikoshi Pass on Route 256 for 18 km toward Wara/Gero (west).
(Since Horikoshi Pass is narrow, large-sized vehicles are recommended to take this road→Get off at Gujo-Hachiman Interchange, head south on Route 156 for 3km and take Prefectural Road 328 toward Wara (west). At the fork road near the top of the road, merge into Route 156 and head to Wara/Gero (west).)

- From Hokuriku area
Get off at Gujo-Hachiman Station on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. Drive south on Route 156 for about 1km to Gujo-Hachiman town, then take Route 256 for another 18km toward Wara/Gero (west).
