The JR Tower Observation Deck, located on the top floor of the JR Tower, a commercial complex at Sapporo Station, is the highest observation deck in Hokkaido among buildings, with 38 floors above ground and 160 meters high.
The JR Tower Observation Deck offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Sapporo. The night view of the city with its rich natural surroundings and the neon lights of central Sapporo spread out in a grid pattern is exceptional.
It is also recommended to wait for the sunset while watching the trains coming and going from Sapporo Station from above. Enjoy the panoramic view that changes with the seasons and time of day.
Indirect lighting and ambient music inspired by the planets create a magical mood on the observation deck.
