This new ropeway, which was renovated in 2020, features wider windows than ever before, allowing visitors to look down on the natural beauty of Mt. Usu below.
There are also two observation decks at the summit: the Toyako Observatory, which offers views of Lake Toya and Mt. Showa Shinzan, and the Usu Crater Observatory, which overlooks the crater where the great volcanic eruption occurred in 1977.
A leisurely tour of the two observation decks takes about 60 minutes.

・The QR code sent to you after your reservation is valid only for the date you selected at the time of purchase.
・The ropeway runs every 15 minutes every hour.
・Children 0-5 years old can ride free of charge. *Up to 2 children per adult are free.
・Valid between Mt. Showa Shinzan and Mt. Usu summit station
・The service may be suspended due to strong winds, thunderstorms, or other weather conditions.
・Pets must be in a dog crate or bag. *Large dogs are not allowed.
・Please use the paid lockers at the foot of the mountain for large luggage.
・Drones are not allowed in the facility.
・Refunds and reissues are not available. Please check the operation status prior to purchase.
・Parking is available (400 spaces / JPY 500 per day)
