- Icicles of Ashigakubo: A 10-minute walk from Ashigakubo Station. These man-made icicles, formed by water flowing downhill in the below-zero temperatures, are magnificent and beautifully lit in winter.
- Moominvalley Park: Perfect for Moomin fans and families! The Moomin House is the main attraction in the park. The blue walls and reddish-brown roof stand out strikingly.
