Activity

The Kankyo Geijutsu No Mori Park is located 887 meters high in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, halfway up Mt. Sakureizan

The forest was created by Masaaki Tsuruta, an environmental artist, who reduced man-made structures to the minimum to create a natural atmosphere.

Popular photo spots where you can take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

The traditional building, about 150 years old, was disassembled and rebuilt here, and the second-floor hall of the quaint "Fuyu Sanso" is a popular location for photographing reflections on the lacquer tables.

Cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, beautiful autumn leaves in fall, and the dignified silence of the highlands in winter: you can truly feel the four seasons and nature of Japan.

[Description]
It took about 40 years to create this 10-hectare forest of beautiful autumn trees on Mt. Sakureizan. There are approximately 10,000 broadleaf trees throughout the forest.
Visitors can enjoy the forest's seasonal natural scenery not only during the autumn and spring seasons, but throughout the year.

[Precautions]
- The QR code sent to you after booking is only valid for the date selected at the time of purchase. It is non-refundable.
- Electronic tickets cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
- Admission is free for children ages 6 years old and younger.
- Only cash is accepted at the store on the 1st floor of Fuyu Sanso.
- Eating and drinking are not allowed in the building.
- Parking fees will be charged only during Golden Week and between November 10 and November 23 (provisory).
