Enjoy a special moment on the "Island of Love
Kouri Island is also known as the "Island of Love" due to the Okinawan legend of Adam and Eve, a boy and a girl who fell from the heavens and became the ancestors of the Ryukyuan people. Kouri Island is also known as the "Island of Love." It was once known as "Kuijima," or "Love Island," and is a very romantic place.
Observation deck with a 360-degree view of the blue ocean
The Kouri Island Museum is located on the first floor of the Ocean Tower, which is 82 meters above sea level. Indoor observation decks are located on the second and third floors, while the rooftop Ocean Deck provides a panoramic view of the island.
Automated carts to the observation tower
An automatic cart will take you through the gardens where you will be greeted by pandanus tectorius, cycads, fukugi trees, and Okinawan plants. Enjoy an 8-minute cart ride.
Shell Museum, a museum of more than 10,000 shells
The Shell Museum has a store where visitors can buy shell accessories and other goods produced from shells in addition to an exhibition of shells gathered from all around the world.

The Kouri Ocean Tower offers a panoramic view of the blue waters of the Kouri Ocean, which stretch as far as the eye can see around Kouri Island, where the legend of Okinawa's Adam and Eve is.
The Ocean Tower, 82 meters above sea level, has the Kouri Island Museum on the first floor, an indoor observation deck on the second and third floors, and the Ocean Deck on the rooftop.
The stunning view of Kouri Island that is spread out in the window frame is like a picture and can be fully appreciated from the indoor observation deck.
You can take in the vista outdoors while being engulfed by the sea breeze on the Ocean Deck.

Transportation to Kouri Ocean Tower is mainly by car/rental car.

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours using Naha Airport Expressway and Okinawa Expressway (Toyomigusuku/Nakaji IC to Kushida IC)
