Experience the magnificent nature and seasonal scenery at an altitude of 2156 meters by riding the Shinhotaka Ropeway. Enjoy the nature and the world above the clouds, nestled amidst the mountains of the Northern Alps.
There are many sightseeing spots such as the Hida Great Limestone Cave, Hirayu Waterfall, and Okuhida Bear Park! Plus, it comes with discount benefits!
On this bus route, you can visit many tourist spots such as Japan's highest-altitude cave, the Hida Great Limestone Cave, located at an elevation of 900 meters; Hirayu Waterfall, one of the three great waterfalls in Hida and designated as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls; and the Okuhida Bear Park, where you can encounter over 100 bears, including the famous Asian black bear.
At the Hirayu Bus Terminal, there is also a free footbath!
The Alps Kaido Hirayu, located adjacent to the Hirayu Bus Terminal, which serves as a transfer point to Kamikochi and Norikura, which are only accessible by bus due to car regulations, features shops selling Hida specialties and souvenirs, as well as restaurants. Additionally, a free footbath is available at the back of the bus terminal.

When you board the bus on the day of your reservation, please click the link on the voucher sent to you at the time of purchase, open the Digital Passenger Ticket screen and click the "Use" button and show it to the driver.
Shinhotaka Ropeway
To get your ropeway ticket, simply present the voucher obtained through the link provided upon purchase at the ticket counter.

- At Takayama Nohi Bus Center, please board from bus stop #5 bound for Hirayu and Shinhotaka Ropeway.
For other bus stops, please checkhere.
-When boarding, please launch the digital boarding pass from the link in the voucher sent at the time of purchase and present it to the driver.
