Activity

Enjoy 7 areas in one day at a great price!

This common ticket for the "Hell Tour" allows admission to seven areas: Umi Jigoku, Chinoike Jigoku, Tatsumaki Jigoku, Shiraike Jigoku, Oniishi Bozu Jigoku, Oniyama Jigoku, and Kamado Jigoku.

See the historic, naturally gushing hot spring water up close!

Engage your five senses to uncover the intrigue of the ancient hot spring source known as "Hell," where fumaroles, hot mud, and scalding water have been erupting for over a millennium.

Visit four National Places of Scenic Beauty and several distinctive hot springs!

Four of the hell hot springs have been designated as National Places of Scenic Beauty. There are numerous hot springs with varying ingredients and temperatures, including stunning cobalt blue and red-colored springs, as well as those emitting gushing hot water and steam.

Featuring free footbaths with free-flowing hot spring water in four areas!

Relax and relieve your fatigue by enjoying the hot spring footbaths after your walk. Don't forget to bring a towel!

We also recommend original souvenirs and Beppu local specialties!

Please enjoy souvenirs that can only be purchased here, such as the famous onsen tamago (hot spring egg), Jigoku-mushi pudding, and Enman no Yu bath salts made from powdered hot spring water from Umi Jigoku.
