Jigoku's sights are located in the 1st to 6th districts!
In the 2nd district is the symbol of Kamado Jigoku, a demon from the folklore of Hachiman Kamado Shrine (in Beppu City) who reformed and became the gatekeeper of the Kamado Jigoku.
Corner where you can experience hot springs: Nodo-yu and Hada no Yu (Gokuraku 1-chome to Gokuraku 4-chome)
Drinkable hot spring water, steaming hot spring water for hands/feet, and hot spring water for throat/skin have moisturizing properties for the skin.
*When drinking the hot spring water, please be careful not to burn yourself as it is very hot.
Free entry for the footbath
Kamado Jigoku 6-chome offers three types of footbaths with free-flowing spring water, and the sand-filled footbath is especially recommended! Don't forget to bring a towel.
Shops and photo spots are also available at Kamado Jigoku!
You can taste original puddings and manju (Japanese sweet buns) at the store. Enjoy taking commemorative photos at the dedicated photo spot, where the decorations change with the seasons!
