Activity
You can get the opportunity to dress up in tea picking costume
You can change into traditional Japanese costumes. Costume rental fees are included in the activity fees.
Join the activity at a location that offers views of the Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site and the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace.
On a clear day, capture our tea plantation with Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site, and the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace in the background.
Original souvenirs and free tea tasting included
As a souvenir, you will receive a Tenugui (hand towel) that you wore on your head when changing into the tea costume, as well as sencha (green tea) produced by our company. The store also offers a free tea tasting.
The activity is open to everyone, including families and couples
Tea-picking costumes are available in children's sizes starting at age three, and both men and women are welcome to wear them.
We can accommodate in rain or shine
Tents are set up in the tea plantation, and plastic greenhouses are also available, so if it rains, you may still participate in the activity without changing your plans.

10:10 AM / 1:10 PM Reception
Please present the reservation screen of My Page at the cashier counter in the Reverberatory Furnace Bussankan Tannan store at the time of reception. Please use the restroom before gathering.
Travel to changing venue - change clothes
Travel to the changing area in a separate building (1 minute walk/slope) - Change into tea-picking costumes
10:30 AM / 1:30 PM Activity start Travel to tea plantation - tea picking (about 20 min.)
From the changing area, walk up the hill for another 2 minutes to the tea farm. You will actually pick tea and take pictures.
Travel to changing venue - change clothes
Change back to your clothes from tea picking costume. We will collect the tea leaves picked.
Travel to Bussankan - Tea tasting and shopping
Return to the building where the reception was and enjoy a free tea tasting and shopping.

Shoes that are comfortable to walk in on hills and dirt (heels and sandals are not recommended)
Long-sleeved T-shirt if possible (you will wear a kimono over the T-shirt, long sleeves recommended to prevent injury from tree branches and insects)
Something to rehydrate (tea fields are hot with no shade and costumes will be worn over clothes)

Notes
•Picked leaves can not be taken home.
•There are no cancellation fees until the day before.
•There is a possibility that you may participate in the activity with other guests.
•If the registration is not completed by the start time of the activity, it will be cancelled. Late arrivals are not accepted in principle.
*Please register at least 10 minutes prior to the start time. (Activity start time is 10:30 AM / 1:30 PM)
•The slope to the tea farm is about 100 meters long with an incline of about 12 degrees. Please be careful if you are not physically fit.
•Even if you don't change into the costume, the activity fee will not change.
•Please note that if the size of the tea picking costume does not fit, you may just wear Happi (jacket)
•In principle, the activity is available rain or shine. (Conducted in tents and plastic greenhouses)
•In case of typhoon, thunderstorm, or other danger, the activity may be canceled on the day or temporarily suspended. If the activity is cancelled after your visit, you will receive an equivalent product.
•Tea plantation are not shaded, and people wear costumes over their clothes, so Japan's heat and humidity can be extreme at times, particularly for international visitors.
•Visitors who do not pay the activity fees are invited to accompany as cameramen, etc., to the tea plantation; however, please do not pick tea leaves.
•Please note that depending on the weather, you may not be able to see Mt. Fuji. (Not only when it rains, but also when it is cloudy, hazy in spring, etc.)
•If a child under 15 years old participates in the activity, one parent or guardian or a person over 18 years old must accompany.
