Experience Japanese sake culture at Sekino-ichi Sake Brewery in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture!
Ideal for individuals interested in Japanese culture and history who wish to treat themselves to the unique flavors of local sake.
Learn about the history of sake making at Sekino-ichi Museum of Sake Folk Culture!
The museum is housed in one of Tohoku's largest two-story earthen storehouses, originally used for the early phases of sake production.
It showcases equipment and tools related to sake brewing, arranged according to the brewing process, with over 1,600 exhibits, including materials for rice cultivation, providing visitors an opportunity to learn about sake production. You can also visit the Toji Room (brewer's room), which enshrines Matsuo Daimyojin, the god of sake.

During the tour, you can try out 3 kinds of Japanese sake.
Includes Sake Shabu-Shabu Set using local sake for lunch!
After the tour, enjoy the Sake Shabu-Shabu Set with mochi at the adjacent sake brewery restaurant.
