◆How to Exchange Your Ticket
1. After completing your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email at the specified email address.
2. Go to a green ticket vending machine and scan the QR codes on your e-ticket and your overseas passport to receive your physical ticket. (The machine's operating menu is available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.)

*If the machine is malfunctioning or your passport does not have an IC chip, please exchange your ticket at a JR West ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi).
3. Reserved seat ticket exchange: Before boarding the train, go to a green ticket vending machine and exchange your area pass for a physical reserved seat ticket.
• How to obtain and exchange reserved seat tickets:

◆Notes
• You can use the Sanyo-San'in Area Pass unlimited times within the valid area.
• You can exchange your pass for a reserved seat ticket as many times as you like. (After the 7th exchange, you'll need to manually reserve your ticket at a JR West ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi))
• The following trains, ferries, and buses are available for use:
- Reserved seats on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Hakata)
- Hello Kitty Shinkansen
- Express trains (Haruka, Kuroshio, Thunderbird, Kounotori, Yakumo, Super Hakuto (including Kamigori to Chizu), Super Inaba, etc.)
- JR West Japan’s rapid, semi-express, and local trains
- West Japan Railway Miyajima Ferry (Miyajimaguchi ⇒ Miyajima)
- Valid only on JR West Japan bus routes within the valid area. Express buses are not included.
*The following trains are not available:
- Shinkansen "Tokaido Shinkansen" (Shin-Osaka ⇒ Tokyo)
- Shinkansen "Kyushu Shinkansen" (Hakata to Kagoshima-Chuo)
*It is prohibited for an individual to purchase or exchange multiple tickets within the same usage period.

◆How to use:
After making a reservation, a PDF file will be sent to your email inbox. Please present the electronic voucher or ticket at the facility during your visit.

◆Validity Period After Use
• Valid for 7 days from the start date of use.
Example: If used from July 1 ⇒ Validity period: July 1-7

◆Notes
• Please note that if you purchase multiple tickets at once, all tickets will be activated as soon as you start using any one of them.
• Even if you are unable to use the ticket at 5 facilities, no refunds or exchanges will be provided.
• Each ticket can be used only once per facility, and re-entry to the same facility is not allowed.
