Schedule

  • A text message (containing a QR code and a link to download the e-ticket) will be sent to your registered email address after the reservation is completed.

  • On the day of use, please present your electronic voucher to the bus crew at the Kyoto Sightseeing Bus Terminal at the Karasuma Exit of Kyoto Station to exchange it for a ticket. Once the ticket has been exchanged, cancellation is not possible.

    After the ticket is exchanged, you can freely get on and off the bus as many times as you like within the period of use. (Do not get on or off outside of the designated Sky Hop bus stops)

  • You can get on and off the open-roof buses as many times as you wish within the period of use

    Enjoy sightseeing at Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and other classic sightseeing spots in Kyoto with your favorite plan.

[Description]
Enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto with unlimited rides on an open-roof double-decker bus!
The bus stops at classic Kyoto sightseeing spots such as Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle, and Kiyomizu Temple.
You can get on and off the bus freely, allowing you to visit the sightseeing spots at your own pace! You can choose which bus to board according to your travel schedule.

[Precautions]
- The QR code sent to you after reservation is valid for 30 days from the date of reservation (=order date)
- Children age 0-5 are free of charge if they do not require a seat. If a seat is required, please purchase a child ticket.
- After the ticket is exchanged, you may ride as many times as you like within the period of validity. (Please do not get off the bus except at the Sky Hop bus stops.)
- Please note that the ticket expiration date depends on the time of ticket exchange.
- Umbrellas are not allowed inside the SKY HOP BUS. In case of rain, raincoats will be distributed free of charge.
- Please be sure to fasten your seatbelt in the Sky Hop Bus. Please do not stand up or move around when the bus is in motion.
- The bus service may be cancelled in case of stormy weather such as typhoons or thunderstorms. Buses do not require reservations. All seats on the bus are unreserved (no standing room). If the bus is full, please board the next bus.
- The bus schedule may be delayed due to traffic conditions on the day of the tour. The course may be changed if there are traffic restrictions on the day of the tour. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
- Traffic conditions vary from day to day, and activities may be delayed due to traffic jams or congestion. In such cases, no refunds will be made.
- Please note that there are no restrooms on the bus.
- There is a trunk on the bus, but we are not able to store your belongings before or after you get on the bus.
- Chinese / English / Spanish / Japanese / German / Korean / French audio guidance also available.
 *The audio guide is linked to the GPS system and provides information in 7 languages at the same time. Please pick up your earphones when you board the bus and give it a try.
- Luggage is allowed, but not recommended as there are no storage on the buses.
- All buses are wheelchair and stroller accessible, but please fold them up if possible.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Eating and drinking is prohibited on board. Drinks without lids or caps are also prohibited.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather. Kyoto can be very hot and cold, so please take care of yourself.
- In winter, it gets cold, so please bring a jacket or other warm clothing.
