Akita-Hachimantai Ski Resort is located near Onuma Onsen in the magnificent Hachimantai area, which straddles Akita and Iwate Prefectures. This ski resort is known for high-quality snow and its long season, open from late November to early May. There are also many hot springs nearby, perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing.
