Resort features

The whole mountain is your winter playground across 2 ski areas! Hachimantai Resort is known for natural powder snow and magnificent nature.
Panorama Ski Area has a 2.7km-long gentle slope and is popular among skiers, snowboarders, beginners, and families alike.Shimokura Ski Area is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and those who want to enjoy fresh snow. You can enjoy excellent snow quality and slopes rich in variety, including a SAJ-certified alpine slope and an exciting cruising slope.Free shuttle bus service is available between Panorama Ski Area and Shimokura Ski Area, and lift passes can be used for both.

Snow park informationA beginner-exclusive park with an 80m-long snow escalator. This is a great place for beginners and children to make their debut.
Kids’ parkThis is the place for sledding! The area is surrounded by nets for safety. There are mini snowmobiles, banana boards, and other activities that are fun for both adults and children. A large snow escalator is installed for easy access to the top of the park!
Ski lodgeOnly in Shimokura Ski Area: Information, ticket counter, rental counter, restaurants, powder station, etc at the base of the slopes.
