Features and details of Iizuna Ski Resort

Visitors can enjoy both skiing and snowboarding at Iizuna Ski Resort. This compact resort has many different trails, including a 2.5 km long run, natural powder slopes, and a wide 100 m flat run. This makes it ideal for everyone from beginners to advanced riders. Enjoy night skiing on a 2km wide, flat trail with stunning views from around 1,000 m elevation. Families will love the well-equipped Kids Park, featuring one of the region's longest 70-meter moving walkways, with unlimited sled and Strider fun, plus indoor play equipment. The resort is just 2 hours from Tokyo by train, and about 2 hours and 40 minutes by car via the Joshinetsu Expressway. Fun experiences such as four-wheel buggy rides are also offered in the resort's activity area.

It's equipped with a 70-meter-long moving walkway and an average gradient of 6 degrees. The area is separated by netting into a safe sledding trail and a ski/snowboard practice area. Its spacious layout can be overlooked from the Polar Bear restaurant, allowing parents to keep an eye on their children from a warm, comfortable space.
