Norn Minakami Ski Resort

Resort features

This ski resort is about 95 minutes from central Tokyo, and has excellent access with a shuttle bus from the nearest station. Its doors are open for night skiing until midnight, so you can enjoy snow fun all day long. High speed quad lifts allow for efficient skiing on slopes that offer wide variety of skiing for all levels. Head to the top of the 1,220-meter-high mountain here for views of some of the "100 most famous mountains in Japan", including Mount Asama, Mount Akagi, and Mt. Nikko Shirane. There is also a snow park for beginners to practice hiking up snow, and is also popular among snowboarders. With a full range of rental gear and other services, it' s easy to go luggage-free.
