Nestled right behind the port, Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort provides a panoramic view of Otaru City and the Sea of Japan from its summit. This resort offers a variety of slopes catering to everyone from beginners to advanced skiers and is bustling with families during the day and a favorite among young adults at night. Snowboarders also find it particularly appealing. Additionally, there's a snow park designed for those not well-versed in skiing, ensuring fun for all skill levels. Ski and snowboard equipment rentals, along with ski schools, are accessible on-site (please verify details in person).
