After indulging in winter sports, treat yourself to a revitalizing soak in the nearby Shionomichi Onsen, renowned for its skin-smoothing properties.
This ski resort boasts a picturesque setting with Mt. Komgata, Mt. Kimen, and Mt. Amakazari to the front, and the Hakuba mountain range of the Chubu-Sangaku National Park to the rear. On clear days, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sea of Japan, Sado Island, and the Noto Peninsula. The ski courses are extensive, catering mainly to intermediate skiers.
The restaurant offers a variety of satisfying and reasonably priced options in terms of quantity, quality, and cost. For a highly recommended dish, try the Katsu Curry (pork cutlet curry) at Bokka Chaya near the first lift station, favored by many repeat customers. Additionally, the Spicy Mabomen Noodle introduced this season is anticipated to become a crowd favorite. If you're near the second lift station, Restaurant Libra suggests the Beef Bukkake Udon, a hearty dish popular among young people, complemented by its prime location with a view overlooking the slopes.
