Yachihokogen Ski Area

Resort features

This ski resort is located among the birch forest in Shinshu, North Yatsugatake. Enjoy superb snow at 1830 meters high. These slopes of beautifully compacted snow offer a variety of fun for a whole day, from carving turns, park skiing, to mogul skiing. The “Petit Tree Run” course, which was popular last ski season, has been added to the ski resort, making it even more exciting! The wide and gentle slopes and the layout that connects all the slopes to the Center House make this a highly family-friendly ski resort. The Kids’ Land is equipped with a moving walkway and offers slopes for practice and sledding, perfect for children to start skiing and have fun with snow. There is a clubhouse with a spacious rest area located right in front of it, so you can comfortably spend a day with your family. Activities include snowshoe trekking and chair snowboarding!
