Shizukuishi Ski Resort

Resort features

Shizukuishi is a leading snow resort in the northern Tohoku region with stunning views of Mt. Iwate. There are a variety of courses on offer for everyone including the E1: Downhill Course with an elevation difference of 720m and a total run length of 2,648m, the B1: Family Slope where snow striders are allowed, and the advanced course with more challenging inclines. One of the most challenging downhill courses in Japan is found here, which is also used for international competitions. Ride on a snowmobile through a powder snow area on the CAT tour, a unique experience at Shizukuishi Ski Resort. There are also many other unique opportunities such as the night ropeway tour under the stars. After skiing, relax in the outdoor hot spring bath at the Shizukuishi Takakura Onsen in the hotel.
