Least Crowded in Hokkaido

Less crowded trail
There are rest houses, a changing room and rental shops to accommodate you at the resort. Their gondola lift will hold up to 4 passengers which is above the standard of Japan ski resorts receiving many compliments for its comfortable riding experience.

Lift tickets are reasonably priced at Kamui Ski Links as the resort is operated by the city. You have a lift pass option of 3 hour, 5 hour and free so you can purchase according to your trip schedule.

One of the reasons making this resort attractive is it provides a higher standard of facilities on site, yet it is rarely crowded because there are less ski tours coming from the main island of Japan and accommodations are limited.

While this resort is not an easy option if you are in the main island, once you are in Asahikawa City, we highly recommend this resort with less crowd, moderate pricing and a big open trail. Most skiers who come to this resort stay in Asahikawa or Sapporo.

The resort is simply designed with all trails from the mountain top coming down to the base area where most facilities are located. Stay in Asahikawa for Sightseeing

Because it is managed by the city, there are no hotels that can be accessed directly from the resort. There are Japanese bed-and-breakfasts in the area too, but if you are staying for several days in Asahikawa, we recommend you stay at a hotel within Asahikawa City so you can go sightseeing and enjoy gourmets.

Ramen on Snow!

Rest House, Annex building
There are 3 restaurants on the resort. On the 2nd floor of Center House which provides more than 500 seating, a scenic restaurant on mountain top called Mt751 and Ramen Shokudo NOBu in an annex building of Ski Center.

Ramen Shokudo NOBu is the most popular restaurant on the resort. Their soup is made from broth of chicken and pork bones creating a traditional Asahikawa Ramen. It is a bit of hassle to get to the restaurant compared to Center House at the base, but we recommend you try this ramen.
