Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort

A long-established ski resort that has been open for over 70 years. Only 90 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen! With a free shuttle bus service from the station and excellent access, you can enjoy one of the largest varieties of slopes in the Kanto region. The magnificent snowy landscape with views of the Uonuma Plain and the Echigo Sanzan (three mountains of Echigo) is a must-see. One of the largest nighttime slopes in Japan is also available. The constantly evolving Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort introduced the world's most advanced combination lift in 2018. The Snow Garden that opened in 2020 is a new spot where visitors can enjoy the attractions of the snowy mountains without skiing. There is a snow dome tent and terrace where visitors can easily enjoy snow glamping, as well as cafés and activities at the Snow Garden. A new observation terrace opened this summer, allowing even more people to enjoy the spectacular snowy scenery.
