Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort

Resort features

Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort is known as being one of Japan’s large ski resorts. Facing the nearby onsen resort, the skiing area covers the summit of 1,650m high Mt. Momo and three mountain ridges, an elevation difference of 1,086m, and an overall area of 297ha. Its sheer size together with its history, snow quality and the views has made this place become known as one of Japan’s premium ski grounds. One of the slopes in this ski ground is Yamabiko. This slope is known to be one of the most popular due to it having 5x1000m intermediate level runs and beautiful natural scenery (such as the Beech tree forest and the frost covered trees) and great quality snow. As the name suggests, another attraction to this resort would be the “onsen”. This hot spring town boasts 13 types of outdoor hot springs, making this a perfect apres-ski activity, or as an activity itself to enjoy different hot springs throughout the day. We promise you will always have new activities to enjoy during your stay here.
