Appi Kogen has 21 big slopes and excellent snow quality. The exhilaration of skiing down the compressed snow and the powder runs are exceptional. Located at 40 degrees north latitude and boasting excellent snow quality, the north-facing slopes and snow environment of Appi Kogen provide stable conditions for skiing. While beginners can enjoy the 5.5-kilometer downhill course from the summit, an exciting 2-kilometer, course of non-compressed snow offers long powder runs and endless natural bumps. In addition, there are tree run zones in the Mt. Nishimori and Sailer areas, where you can enjoy the premium powder snow of Appi Kogen.
