Enjoy a long season with high-quality powder snow at Tengendai Kogen Ski Resort, located halfway up Mt. Nishi-Azuma (2,035m), one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. Snow arrives early at this high altitude, allowing skiing from early December until the Golden Week holidays in May! The ski resort features a number of trails that make full use of the surrounding natural landscape, all covered in some of the best powder snow on Honshu. For the ultimate experience, come in January or February and enjoy the fresh snow on the ungroomed trail, perfect for powder skiing. From the top of the Tsugamori Slope (1,820m down to Yumoto Station, the ropeway's base at 920 meters, the 6,000-meter-long trail with a 900-meter elevation difference offers countless highlights for skiers!
