Yachiho Kogen Ski Resort

Resort information
Nestled in the Northern Yatsugatake region of Shinshu, Yachiho Kogen Ski Resort is surrounded by Japan's largest birch forest. Enjoy exceptional snow at an elevation of 1,830 meters—once you experience it, you won't want to stop. Compact yet well-groomed, the slopes offer carving trails, a park, moguls, and various attractions for a full day of fun. When natural snow accumulates, the Petit Tree Run opens, letting you enjoy powder snow! The resort is family-friendly, featuring wide gentle slopes and a layout where all runs lead back to the Center House. The Kids' Land features a moving walkway for endless rides, making it ideal as a practice slope for children skiing for the first time, as well as a sledding area perfect for kids wanting to play in the snow. A clubhouse with a large rest area is conveniently located right in front of the slope, allowing families to spend the entire day comfortably. Additional activities include snowshoe trekking and chair snowboarding.
