Winghills Shiratori Resort is a highly-popular ski resort for families wanting a fun time, to expert-level skiers and snowboarders, with six-person high-speed gondolas that will take you from the base to the top of the mountain in just eight minutes! Going by way of multiple courses, you can enjoy a long run of 3,500 meters by going through the beginner courses. The conveyor belt lift on the kids' slope makes it convenient for kids and adults to ride together. This is a great way for children and adults to enjoy a safe way to play in the snow even in bad weather. The natural hot spring spa resort, Manten no Yu, is located in the Winghills No. 2 parking lot. It has an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a sauna, and of course, a private open-air bath where you can have a wonderful view all to yourself.

Takasu Snow Park is known as one of the largest snow resorts in the Gujo area. Together with the neighboring Dynaland, there are a total of 211 snow machines used to maintain the slopes, and the park is open for a long ski season with stable snow quality until around April. There are 15-person gondolas, the only one of its kind in Japan, and it takes only 10 minutes to reach the top of the mountain, where a silvery white world spreads out before you. There are three 4,000-meter-long courses, offering satisfying runs for beginners and experts alike.

TAKASU TERRACE is a café at the top of the mountain with a spectacular view. It is one of the most popular spots on the slopes and allows for an enjoyable time even for those who aren’t skiing or snowboarding. There are five long courses that stretch over 2,000 meters in length, and the park is connected to the neighboring Takasu Snow Park near the top of the mountain, offering more than 30 courses in total! Washigatake Ski and Snowboard Resort has a wide variety of courses with a maximum length of over 1,000 meters. Its most famous Parallel Course has a maximum width of 400 meters. The clear, open view of the silver-white peaks is absolutely stunning. The 1,200-meter-long park area has various obstacles and is one of the largest in the area. Equipped with a variety of obstacles to satisfy everyone from beginners to experts, it is a park enjoyable by both skiers and snowboarders. The first floor of the Center House is conveniently located, connected directly to the large bathhouse, Washi no Yu. The 5,000-meter long course at Meiho Ski Resort is absolutely superb and impressive

The resort boasts a large number of courses at 14 courses, and the longest run distance, summit elevation, and elevation difference are all No. 1 in the surrounding Okumino area! The resort boasts a wide variety of courses, including wide gentle slope courses and a thrilling rinkan (forest) course. One of the most popular courses is the α5000, a long run of 5,000 meters and the longest in the Gujo area. From the top of the mountain, you can ski down a slope with an elevation difference of about 700 meters while enjoying a spectacular view of the Northern Alps! Its gentle slopes that stretch down to the base of the mountain are easy enough for even beginners to enjoy.

White Pia Takasu Ski Area is a ski resort with an excellent reputation for its ease-of-use, with a total of 13 courses that are well-balanced in terms of difficulty and has a full range of facilities. With the introduction of the latest ice crush system (artificial snow-making machine), you can enjoy skiing on high-quality snow from the beginning of the season in late November. It has a long lift over 1,000 meters long, and the two quad lifts make it easy to conquer all the courses. The layout is fan-shaped, with the courses clustered from the top of the mountain to the base area, so it is difficult to get lost on any of the courses. It is also a great place for small children to make their skiing debut. The Center House, located in front of the slopes, is equipped with a number of facilities that make day-trippers happy, including a restaurant, rental desk, store, bath and rest area.

Gujyo Vacance Mura Ski Area, a secluded slope perfect for practice

Gujyo Vacance Mura Ski Area is a quiet, private, compact ski resort, which makes it stand out among the mostly large snow resorts in the Gujo area. While enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Hakusan mountain range, you can enjoy beginner courses that take advantage of the natural terrain. The slopes are smaller and there are only three courses, but most of the visitors here are guests of the hotel that is attached to the resort. This makes this resort less crowded than other resorts and allows skiers to have space for practice. One-day bathing is also available at the Gujyo Vacance Mura Hotel, located near the slopes.
